Baekdusan and Hallasan

Baekdusan (Mt. Baekdu) and Hallasan (Mt. Halla) are two mountains which span the Korean peninsula. Baekdusan is located on the border with China and Hallasan is located on Chejudo, an island off the southernmost tip of the peninsula. Both were former volcanoes and both have calderas (crater lakes) at their summits.
